THE HOME OF PELVIC HEALTH

EDUCATION AND

PHYSIO FOCUSED PILATES

”I recently saw Rosie for pelvic pain I had developed in the third trimester of my pregnancy. I was having trouble moving about and the pain was constant even keeping me up through the night. Rosie is just fantastic, such a lovely person and it was clear from the minute my session started she knew exactly what she was talking about. She is so thorough and provided me with numerous exercises and helpful tips on managing and dealing with my aches and pains for the remaining weeks of my pregnancy.”

Rosie graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2013 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and has worked in the National Health Service since graduating covering an a ray of specialised areas such as intensive care, stroke, orthopaedics. She has worked as a junior Obsetricts and Gynaecology Physiotherapist within Ayrshire and Arran in 2014 and went on to become a Senior Physiotherapist within Greater Glasgow and Clyde since 2016 in this specialised field.

Rosie has a very active history within sport in running, hockey and weight lifting. She is extremely passionate about what physical activity can do not only from a health perspective but improving ones mental health. She feels women are commonly told to give up certain exercises or being told to not return to certain formats due to pelvic health conditions and feels this is very mis-leading. The main reason behind the business forming.

Due to Rosie’s previous experience and interest working in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy and amateur rugby her knowledge goes beyond just the pelvic floor and this background allows her to individualise treatment to the individual in more of an holistic approach.

Rosie’s interest does not lie in one area of pelvic health. Within pelvic health she is interested in every patient walking through the door if it’s for pelvic pain, post natal pelvic floor recovery, diastasis or post operative hysterectomy recovery for a example she feels she can help you.
